European Champions: Ollie Wins Junior Team Gold for Great Britain

Ollie has won gold for Great Britain at the European Championships in Athens, shooting in the junior team event at just 16.

One of the youngest competitors at the championships, Ollie teamed up with Henry Lungley and Charles Worrall to win the team final against Ukraine and bring the gold medal home.

Stronger every day

Ollie competed as a junior across three competitions in Athens and improved with each one. The final event was the team competition, where the three Great Britain shooters took two rounds each.

The Great Britain trio shot superbly in qualifying to finish top of their group, earning a place in the final against Ukraine.

Ollie shot first and took control from the start, hitting every clay he faced. The team went on to claim the gold medal.

Henry Lungley and Charles Worrall, both 20 and in their final year as juniors, completed the Great Britain line up. At 16, Ollie was one of the youngest competitors in the whole championships, which makes the result all the more impressive.
