Meet the New Head of Hartley House

Meet the New Head of Hartley House!

We’re delighted to introduce Helen Hunter, who joins Denstone as the new Head of Hartley House. Relocating from Somerset with her husband, John, and their daughter, Holly, Helen brings a wealth of boarding experience from S. Anselm’s and Taunton.

She’ll be living on-site in the Hartley bungalow and will also be teaching at Denstone Prep — a role that perfectly complements her pastoral care.

Here’s what Helen had to say:

My family and I are so excited about joining the Denstone boarding community and we hope to ensure that Hartley House is a real ‘home from home’ for all of its residents. With my husband, John and our 14-year-old daughter, Holly, we look forward to leading a house where the children are known and nurtured, where warmth is paired with clarity and where, with our colleagues, we help prepare boarders not only for the school day, but for life beyond it!

Helen will be joining us for the Prep’s Moving Up Morning on 23 June, and in the meantime, any queries can be directed to the acting Head of Hartley, Nic Horan.

Welcome to the Denstone family, Helen!
