Exploratory Learning - Hurricanes

The latest exploratory focus for Prep 6 was hurricanes. Through their studies in Geography, English and Art, the pupils looked to answer the key question: Where do hurricanes come from and what do they leave behind?
Prep 6 are now experts in paleotempestology and, from taking inspiration from artist Cornelia Parker’s Cold Dark Matter work and Grace Nichol’s poem Hurricane Hits England, they had a storm surge of creativity that resulted in a disastrously brilliant hanging installation in The Prep’s Art room and some powerful verses, which are performed in the film.
