Denstone Pupils Named in England U18 Men Squad

Denstone College is delighted to announce that current Sixth Form student Joe Edmunds and recent leaver Fin Charles have been named in the England U18 Men squad for the 2026 International Series.

The 32-player squad will compete in three fixtures this spring, representing a significant milestone in both players' rugby careers. This achievement is testament to their dedication, skill, and the hard work they have put into developing their game.

Fin Charles - Former Captain and Leicester Tigers Academy

Fin Charles captained Denstone's 1st XV last season with distinction, leading the team through an impressive campaign. His leadership qualities and exceptional performance on the field have been recognized at the highest level, and he has just been named in the Senior Academy at Leicester Tigers - a remarkable achievement that reflects his talent and potential in the sport.

Joe Edmunds - Current Sixth Form Star

Current Sixth Form student Joe Edmunds continues to excel both on and off the field. His selection for the England U18 Men squad demonstrates the high calibre of rugby talent being developed at Denstone College and his commitment to the sport alongside his academic studies.

Both players are part of Denstone's strong rugby programme and partnership with Leicester Tigers, which provides our aspiring rugby players with access to elite coaching, strength and conditioning support, and competitive fixtures that help develop their skills at the highest level.

We are incredibly proud of Joe and Fin's achievements and wish them every success as they represent England at U18 level. Their success is an inspiration to current and future Denstone rugby players.

Well done, Joe and Fin!
