Denstone College pupils attend University of British Columbia Seminar

Pupils attended a seminar focussed on studying at UBC, which has been voted one of the most international universities in North America

The seminar was given by International Officer, Tom Whittaker. Tom spoke to pupils about the positives of living in Vancouver, the world class facilities offered by UCB and the two campuses which are set in stunning surroundings.

Tom spoke about the academic environment and what programmes the university has to offer, as well as the importance of active learning. This was a fantastic opportunity to hear about the possibility of studying at one of the best research universities in the world!

The seminar is part of a programme of talks, visits and presentations run by the Head of UCAS and Careers, Mr Andy Wray.

Thank you to Tom for an interesting and informative seminar.
